Getting to know you, Ireland ... ? [25 January 1998]
Another page on a CWC issue has turned up.
There's an open issue, as you'll see from the Chronicle, regarding the merging of French and German television channels so that they show on alternate days. CWC seem not to realise that there are a lot of EU nationals in London: also that these channels are useful for those who want to improve their language skills.
Tara TV is an Irish satellite channel which CWC doesn't offer at the moment: requests for it have been ignored. Of course, if people of Irish origin signed up to CWC because Tara TV was offered they'd probably, on average, spend a lot more than £50 a month on calls home!
