After 16 months, the letter is written [24 September 1998]
After three phone calls to CWC and the grinding of gears at their end of the line:
Cable and Wireless Communications will be sending out a letter, in the next week or so, which describes a move of all former Videotron customers to CWC tariffs in November. This means the removal of unmetered local 'cable-cable' calls.
The people I and someone else spoke to were obviously reluctant to give out any information, and the letter will have to be seen before anything happens, but all is, at last, out in the open ...
