This is what happened when I passed myself off as a clueless ex-Videotron customer and asked about changing my tariff.
Them: We're encouraging people to do it now voluntarily - I mean, there are many incentives, as you know!
Me: Ah, so I can choose now to change. Right. But when, next year, will we be changed over automatically to the new scheme?
Them: We haven't been told yet, but I'd guess that in six months' time there'll be so few people using or still wanting to use the old free calls offer (!!!) that we'll do the automatic changeover then. Yes, I'd say that was a fair idea.
Me: You've been most helpful. Thanks and goodbye.
